Los Angeles, CA – Actress ELIZABETH BENNETT reunites with her ‘Ex’ thanks to Santa in the all-new Hallmark Channel movie, MATCHMAKER SANTA, set to premiere on the network on November 17, 2012.

MATCHMAKER SANTA follows the seemingly perfect couple Melanie (Lacy Chabert) and Justin (Thad Luckinbill) as their busy schedules, best friends and Ex’s create complications over the holidays. As Melanie begins falling for someone else (Adam Mayfield), Justin, thanks to Santa, reconnects with his sexy ex-girlfriend Blaire (Bennett) realizing he still has feelings for her. Santa is passing out true love to all this holiday season. The movie is directed by David Cass and also stars veteran actors Florence Henderson and John Ratzenberger.

Bennett was thrilled to be part of the project, explaining “I was nervous about getting back into acting after having taken time off to have a baby, but working with such a warm and friendly group of people was the best welcome back I could have ever hoped for. And, even though it was spring when we shot, we were fully in the Christmas spirit. We even sang a few Christmas carols together!”

Bennett first gained attention when she landed a role in Barry Levinson’s period drama “Liberty Heights.” This natural beauty has appeared in numerous projects, including “Castle,” “CSI:NY,” “Heroes,” “NCIS,” the film “Soul’s Midnight” opposite Armand Assante, the TNT pilot “Bird Dog” and the daytime drama “One Life to Live.”

This Crofton, Maryland native comes from a performing family, including her uncle, opera singer Edward Crafts. She grew up appearing on the local stages around Washington, DC and Baltimore, eventually making her way to Syracuse University. After graduating, Bennett and her boyfriend-turned-husband, writer Jeremy Shipp, moved to Los Angeles to continue pursuing their entertainment careers. While Bennett has been building a solid reputation in front of the camera, Shipp has been doing the same behind the scenes as a staff writer on Nickelodeon's “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” ABC's “Family Tools,” and most recently teamed up with Brown Bag Films and Wind Dancer Films for the animated feature “Nightglider.”

Elizabeth Bennett is represented by Venture IAB.
