CRIMINAL MINDS follows an elite group of profilers as they analyze the nation's most dangerous criminals in an effort to anticipate their next moves before they strike again. In the episode titled “Perennials,” Hoetmer pops up as a dissatisfied Florida diner waitress who has bigger plans for herself.
Hoetmer was thrilled to work with such a talented team, explaining “I loved working with veteran television director Michael Lange. He was funny, quick and very honest and I look forward to working with him again in the future. I also loved working opposite Bill Tangradi. When you have a great actor to work opposite of, it makes your job easier and at that point you simply have to react.”
Coming in 2013, Hoetmer brings her talents to the indie dramatic-thriller currently titled, THE GREATER SINS OF LUCAS BLACKSTONE. The storyline trails Lucas Blackstone, played by Angus MacFadyen, as he carjacks a young Christian couple and forces them into his plot to assassinate the killer of his son. Hoetmer steps in as Patty Blackstone, the estranged ex-wife to Lucas, in order to help the detectives catch this criminal on the run. The film is produced by White Door Media and will be distributed by Pure Flix Entertainment.
Hoetmer has been building a solid reputation since making her way to Hollywood. Her credits include appearances on ABC’s “Private Practice,” NBC’s “Outlaw” starring Jimmy Smits, the pilot episode of “The Odds” starring Donald Faison and a role in the Pure Flix feature film “What If….” Originally from Falls Church, Virginia, Hoetmer formally trained at Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University before moving to Chicago where she showcased her acting skills on-stage and in commercials, as well as behind the scenes as a commercial Producer.
Danielle Hoetmer is represented by Jessica Chung at The Envy Agency in Los Angeles.
