Los Angeles, CA – Actor DARREN O’HARE joins the team as UNSC Commander Tom Lasky in the highly-anticipated video game HALO 4, developed by 343 Industries, a subsidiary of Microsoft Studios, and releasing on November 6, 2012.

For the first time, with the purchase of HALO 4, fans can grab an entire campaign of extra content and gameplay, including an extended storyline involving character Tom Lasky (O’Hare), in the 10-week episodic series, SPARTAN OPS, available for download November 6th with XBOX live Gold membership.

A “gamer” himself, O’Hare is thrilled to be part of such a successful franchise, working to establish the Tom Lasky character with motion capture acting and lending his voice to the character. "I'm a huge fan of HALO and now my wife can't complain when I play,” O’Hare explains with smile, “...I'm just doing research!"

Just announced, O’Hare will portray "Lt. Siegle (TAO)" as part of the guest cast for Michael Bay’s post-apocalyptic TNT pilot, THE LAST SHIP. The project is set aboard the naval destroyer, the USS Nathan James, where Captain Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) and his crew are forced to confront the reality of their new existence in a world where they are among the only survivors, after a global catastrophe decimates the Earth’s population.

O’Hare has been building a solid resume since arriving in Hollywood, appearing in numerous projects, including the films “The Chaperone,” “People Like Us,” and “Beautiful Boy”; and television shows “How I Met Your Mother,” “Bones,” “Lie To Me,” “24,” and “Melissa & Joey,” among others.

Born and raised in Long Island, NY, O’Hare joined the Army as an Intel Analyst where he quickly excelled to Counter-Intel Agent and was recruited to work on a Joint Task Force with the Department of Defense. On a career path to work on clandestine operations, O’Hare began studying with an acting coach to aide in believability during undercover operations. It was after completing his service in the military, he decided to make the move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in entertainment.

Darren O’Hare is represented by Ferrantino Entertainment.
